Sometimes I'm pretty cool, other times I'm pretty dorky. Usually I lean toward dorky, and that's just fine by me :) this week I've done a little of each but one of my main points of interest this week has been words. For some reason I just love big words. I don't use them very often but when I do I feel pretty accomplished with myself.
This week's word list includes,
~Anthropromorphication
--Meaning, Giving human characteristics to an object.
~Polysyllabic
--Meaning, a word possessing three or more syllables.
~Floccinaucinihilipilification (My favorite, and it is a real word!)
--Meaning, the act of judging something to be useless. Also, this is the longest word in the English language in "common use;" the longest is a medical term.
I've probably said the "F word" (I'm to lazy to spell it again...I'm not swearing, promise! It's the other F word!) 90 times since Friday when I first learned it. It took me a reeeeeeally long time to learn how to say it right.
Well those are my interesting words for the week!
This has been a very busy week, but a really good one. On Monday I took Kellie's puppy for a run, I was sore until Thursday. On Tuesday I'm sure I did something but if I did I really don't remember it, but I know I went to seminary and had school. Wednesday I went to mutual; it was the super power of prayer night and I really needed to be there so I am glad I went. I also got a pretty good hug. Thursday was the kick off for my "weekend." It started pretty normally with seminary. I have been commited to learn how to play a new hymn and play it for one of the devotionals...gulp. I decided Wednesday that I will be a runner, and I will be! And I convinced my friend into it with me, so we will be running a few times a week. Well one of my amazing girl friends has the quickest legs I know and lives to run. So I asked her for some advice on getting started and she was at my house 10 minutes later helping me set some goals and such. So then Kellie showed up at my house in the middle of our goal setting to have me come over and help out with some stuff. So leisha and I run out the door and as we're driving off Sharise pulls in...totally unannoucned :) so I rush through cleaning stalls and book it home cause Sharise has this rebellious thing going on this week and had me in a panic, so I get home and see her, then she leaves and Justin shows up and we go down to the track and run around for a bit and then went to walmart to go light bulb shopping :) get home, sleep. Friday I wake up and get going on school and starting at 1:30 everyone I knew wanted to hang out with me, well I couldn't go with Sharise 'cause i was still in school, couldn't go with Jake 'cause of something I forgot...then I got asked out and couldn't do that because I just didn't have it in me to go, then I talked on the phone for an hour and then Justin came over with his brothers and we made brownies and watched a movie and my little sister tried to steal him from me (she's only 7, thank goodness for that or I would be out a boy) and then they left and we went to sleep. Then yesterday I got up and hung out at home and just relaxed for a long time, then I took one of the loves of my life out and got as much mud off as possible and then taught him how to pivot and practiced a bunch of inhand stuff (if you haven't realized, I am referring to Rocket, my horsey.) Then I put him away and came inside and smelt funny and couldn't make it go away (mom said I smelt fine, but I could have sworn I smelt) and then I was talking to my mom and while we're trying to talk my little brothers friend (who is several years older than me...) was sitting on the couch awkwardly listening to us, then Justin picked my other Brother and I up and we went shopping to the Karcher mall and went through some pretty cool stores and then bought him an amazing tie at berlington (so we could be all matchy matchy this morning at Church, haha) and then we went to shopko and tried out their couches, then to Jack in the box and then to watch Megamind at the dollar theater :) It was a good night. Then today I had Church super early and that was good and Justin and I mostly matched and have done very little since then, I have a meeting in 40 minutes though, I should probably go get reprettied since I've unprettied since Church, haha.
So that was my week, and it was good. I saw a ton of Justin this week so that was pretty exciting, and he reassured me that my little sister had no chance of stealing him away...phew.
Anyways, it's time for me to get up :) Have an awesome week!
